In my ceramic work I look for a balance between the form and the surface
which I find so important for objects of everyday use. Therefore my big inspiration is traditional ceramic of east asian cultures with their emphasis on perfect aesthetic balance. I also admire their insistence on high standard of dining where the tableware has its essential role.
I mostly make my ceramic pieces on throwing wheel, technique which doesn´t stop fascinating me with its possibilites. I than decorate it with delicate patterns which emphases its pure forms.

The base of my instalations are pictures painted with casting slip. I then make hanging instalations which are carefully composed in to particulare space.

Illusive fragility of those shapes is enhanced by its loose movement and with play of light and shadows, which enriches the instalation of another aesthetic dimension.
